I've always had a soft spot for both the Wildcat and the Dauntless.

The last of the Hawk series of 1/72 WWII models is a Corsair. I found one of the kits some years ago and it is now in paint and awaiting the arrival of its decals.

It is a lot of fun to build these ancient kits and seeing what you can do with them using modern paints, adhesives, and techniques.

They have been a very relaxing break.
