I used to make up fantastically huge mobiles using 1/2" hardwood dowelling and surgical silk. Even then, I was pretty neurotic about the right aeroplanes in proximity to each other; all Great War subjects in one mobile, maybe the Battle of Britain in another; made more than one raid over Berlin or maybe Schweinfurt.
