We're away in an Airbnb in the Welsh Marches, near Hereford, next to a railway line for some train interest. So some news - I've been treated for prostate cancer, 37 days or radiotherapy in 2023, and 2 years on hormone treatment (testosterone agoniser). Feeling well, only problem is an increase amount of nighttime peeing. Coping with diabetes OK - regular Metformin does the trick.
In other news - went to Thailand a few months ago and stayed with your brother Steve - he's fairly healthy and well set up there. Don't think he can afford to live in Australia on his pension.
We sold our old 2CV - can't get down on my knees to work on it any more, and it only did about 30 miles a year.
Ali has had more shoulder joint replacements with arthritis, and is going for a hip replacement in a couple of weeks. Means we can't go camping to our regular music festival - Fairport Convention at Cropredy - this year.Thank god that the NHS funds all this.
Met up with Mike Chapman recently, he asked after you of course, he's living in France and had come over to see his family. Kept in contact via Dave Manze, who's his neighbour in France.
