Well, I have a lunch appointment with an old friend today, so time to get cleaned up a bit and choose the day's outfit.
But what have we here?
Open up my clothes drawer a bit more and...
2) We've been having hot days and the whinging, bitching, and complaining have been legion. I don't understand, really. It is mid-summer after all.
Actually, we've been having enough rain to keep pace with the "average rainfall", and the grass has yet to turn brown and crunchy as so often happens this time of year, so I see reason for comment, but not for complaint.
The Morning Glory is running riot...
...and the robins have pretty much headed out for the year as is their wont. So far, summer has actually treated us quite well this year. Hopefully she remains kind to us.
3) Our resident Mourning Dove has become rather tired of raising this year's crop of offspring after at least three hatching cycles. She bailed a week ago and hasn't returned for another go, so we'll see if she returns next spring.
