I'm no closer to reliability with this dam Subaru now than I was when I brought it home; ran it for a couple days and now one of the cam seals shit the bed. That'd be another grand to do seals or just scrap it at this point. I'm so disgusted with this (and life in general) it probably will be the latter.

Second time I've been down this road and I'm pretty well convinced anything built in the 21st century is unrestorable and perilously close to unrepairable. I got away with it with the Jeep for a few years but it's started in on me too; intermittent electronic issues.

The day electronics were introduced to the motor vehicle was the day the repairable and maintainable car was doomed.

God I'm sick and tired of "tech" and with cars in general. Am I faced with a choice of either buying one of these horrid hateful things they make now or walk?
