Brunel has been an interest for a long time, primarily his tunnels, bridges, and his steamship architecture. The GWR was kind of a secondary interest.

I have read a few books about him, and I'll be honest, it's tough to find a truly objective look at the guy. His story seems largely swamped in mythology, but damned interesting.
