The following short piece of text is an insertion that I have yet to decide which tile to add it to OR perhaps I'll continue to make this a piece in its own right.


FROM TILE 5 - ALCHEMICAL ONLOOKER
"Starting with the forest it's obvious why it acts as a barrier, it's very gloomy and there's an air about it that seems to suggest imminent danger." said Timmy

"It's more than that, almost a feeling of wickedness, I don't know how to describe it but if Freda hadn't been with me, I should have left immediately, the hairs on my neck were bristling."

HERE BE MONSTERS
"I'm surprised that Freda didn't tell you about Wyrm Leigh" said Charles "because that would have helped you understand why the Dark Forest has such an 'air of wickedness' as you quite rightly described it.

Perceptive of you, although no more than I would expect from a half elven boy who is only now beginning to grow into his full powers.

Wyrm Leigh got its name from the old story about a dragon that ran away to hide after being wounded in battle with a brave warrior. Surely you've heard of it? Almost every fairy story told to children includes that one, though there's no truth to it, well not as the tale is told anyway.

Freda and I have met with the dragon, it is hidden beneath a hillside forest clearing deep in a magical slumber but can be spoken to in the language of dreams which speak our innermost secret thoughts.

We, Freda and I, are hoping that you will develop your own prescient abilities living here in the village away from the threats to your life that the Citadel always posed because of your fathers enemies.

So when you described your feelings of dread from the forest I was very pleased because no ordinary boy would ever have noticed. I suppose that you kept the feeling to yourself otherwise I know Freda would have told you why you experienced what can be a very unsettling experience to those unprepared for it."

"I think she was preoccupied with gathering the herbs and mushrooms because she kept saying how scarce they are and how crucial it is that they only be harvested at the right time under the right conditions," answered Timmy relieved to learn that his premonitions had not been born of fear through ignorance.
