I'm still working on a friend's estate; for a guy who was no hoarder by any means, there still is a lot of "stuff".

Otherwise, things have settled down to mostly background noise. We went out last night for our anniversary, an American take on a pub which was OK albeit a bit pretentious. For example, a simple scotch egg served on a squared platter, carefully sliced in half lengthwise into equal pieces placed in a straight line end-for-end, with three symmetrical pools of dijonnaise (!) placed equidistant from each other and the ends of the platter. All this "presentation" for a humble scotch egg which one would expect at the most a bit of Colmans to spice it up. Froggy mustard sauce, though? In the name of all that's holy...
