December now ghts getting longer here; it’s dusk by 3.30pm. Temperatures rise and fall between 10°centigrade (actually feels warm to me here in Morayshire (AB38 7QT) and gradually dropping below minus at night.

Two spells of snow, enough for gritters and even a snow plough plus farmers with bucket scrapers.

Dry again and beautiful sunshine and blue, cloudless skies yesterday for walk along Cullen beach yesterday with a friend - cold though.
