While I'm pissed off, here's a cute one.A new tube of toothpaste, but what's this then?

A tube used to be 6oz. I still have a box and tube bought previously.

Same brand, smaller 4 oz tube slipped in the old size box, hoping you won't notice until you open the box and see this:



A mistake? Nope. The box is indeed labelled 4 oz, so this charade was done purposely to hide the shrinkflation from casual observation (unless you knew from memory the old one was 6 oz: I had to check the earlier one in my pantry to know.)

Better yet, the cost of living isn't affected; a tube of toothpaste is still x number of dollars.

Lying bastards. Mainstream behaviour in this country, just lie to us all about how good the economy is doing while they lie about everything else.
