As you know, Hobbes is an old cat, and there was some concern about his longevity expressed here. Indeed, on his last annual he had lost weight, not atypical for a geriatric cat.

Still, he is active, happy, social, and enjoying life.

We tried an experiment over the last month and today was his follow-up from last month's vet visit. I'm pleased to pass on to his friends here that, with a change in diet and a daily pharm (sounds familiar to many of us here?) he has picked up weight, blood profiles look good, and no signs of anything indicating cancers or similar.

As I type this he just ran past me playfully chasing Lucy, ears forward and tail high.
