I get along quite nicely with a pay-as-you-go text and call phone only. Not through any luddite reasoning, it's just that I don't have a need for one. The thought of straining my already myopic eyesight when viewing say the web on a small screen doesn't appeal to me and what ever else a smart phone provides I do via other means and am content to continue to do so. I also have no desire to join the army of folk who are constantly glued to the device staring at it in a zombie like trance whilst attempting to do other things.

Each to their own I suppose.
