I'm not ticking boxes at all here. The only thing I get asked to do is the stereotypical seven-digit number thing to prove I'm not a robot and that perhaps fifty percent of the time.

I'm using an iPad, so the OS might be quite different.

Another possibility is that might be a mechanism of some sort having to do with you living in a civilised nation that has privacy laws and some modicum of respect for its citizenry in that regard. Here, the population exists as a resource for the "enterprising" to mine, in this case its personal data to be harvested and sold as an unrestricted commodity. You have individual rights and protections. We might be allowed "rights" only if there is profit in it.

Anyway, no boxes to tick here, which is probably not very helpful. GRIN!
