The US National Weather Service has named a storm in the Pacific, that is due to become a hurricane and is nearing Hawaii, Tropical Storm Lala.
These people do an excellent job predicting and tracking these storms, especially in these anti-enlightenment times when science has been taking it in the chin in America. There had to be some smiles when they came up with the list of names for the hurricane season and decided to have just a little fun with it.
On the record as "Hurricane Lala". Just brilliant.
Now, don't tell me "Lala" is a serious baby's name in this moronic day and age and "its pronounce LĀ-lă and means "precious" in some obscure Island indigenous language" or some such shit. I prefer the smile, so I shall cover my ears and go, "la la la la...."
