I barely missed the draft. Had friends who were drafted and killed over there. Had other friends who camne back wholly changed human beings for the worse, and were shells of the men they were.

Thew great neer do well donald trump had enrolled at Fordham and promptly funked out. He NEVER had any discipline in anything. Certain to be drafted, and a bully coward... well we know the history.
In the White House, he is Nixon all over again, only much worse.
Back then I hated LBJ because the war escalated under his presidency to where 500 soldiers per week were keing killed. I never knew LBJ's heart. I realize now, I made a mistake.
It took us a long time to heal after Vietnam, and with Vietnman. Gonna take longer to heal from Trump and what ever he gets us into.
I knew Trump sometimes palled around with Nixon. Never realized that was because they lived in the same building. I know and know of some of the conversations Fred Trump and Dick Nixon had. I was to young and naive to understand fully what went on back them. I think I know now. and an eager to work on the right side of history in the way my tiny ant voice in the chorus can.
