While it sometimes resembles granite it lacks mica and was diorite before metamorphosing into gneiss.

I was curious to see the old MSN page. Had no idea Greenman dated back that far. I think that was well before me. He vanished, was subducted, and reappeared. Merlin was subducted and may be under metamorphosization. Being deformed under heat and pressure.
