I applaud your tenacity like others expressed.

I have some ?clients? that I do handyman housecall stuff. They are a bit older than my parents but their children are the same age as mine. That is how I know them. (I fathered babies as kid basically)
The man of the house is quite limited in physical things but still makes attempts at DIY. Then I get a call from the lady of the house. Most things I can handle or can give some guidance. I always confer with them both before proceeding with any work. I charge them a reasonable rate for me but not gouging em with corporate overhead costs. I save them much and they keep calling.

You are definitely an experienced man with much wisdom. Do you have someone that can help you like that?
