The only way Liberals or Democrats are involved with this is as targets by the far right.

This kind of gang or tribal faction criminal misconduct occurred in Germany during the early days of rise to power by Hitler. They all contended for power and control over a country whose leadership and representation lost trust of the people. Leaders of the factions, one of whom was Hitler, undermined the German Hindenburg government until they could challenge for power and control. Hitler emerged as the ultimate leader.

It isn't just the felon about whom we should be concerned. There are more, all contending for power. The felon may more resemble Hindenburg, and a real "Hitler" might lead one of the far right factions, all undermining the US government like crazy. The felon is helping, but like Hindenburg, may be too old and fat to do much more.
