His Turning Point youth followers confuse sarcasm with surety. Like Kirk, they don't know the difference, and nobody can teach them until a few hard knocks educate them.
They carried Turning Point signs and wore t shirts with the word "Freedom" printed on them. The felon's definition of freedom, which Kirk endorsed.
