While I hate for the Dems to cave to these despots, it seems like a no win situation really. Republicans have already shown that they really don't care if people starve or die off, and the SS seems to have already caved to their lower natures as well. So someone or something has to give in the meantime, lest people literally start to starve because of gridlock politics, which is another unprecedented travesty and hallmark of this administration... that they would withhold FOOD from starving people to get what they want, which is withholding affordable medical care as well! So... someone has to care enough to get us to the next election, with the least amount of pain in the meantime, so that the people can finally rid us of this scourge... which I believe they will do as soon as they get the chance, as they are finally waking up to the harsh truth and reality of the current situation in Washington.
