Aculturation is cool because it is respectful and simply adopting favored cultural elements into one's own cultural eexperiences. It is not "stealing" the culture of others and then bastardizing it in insulting and disrespectful ways as if it now belongs to them.

I don't have a problem with two-spirit Native Americans nor LBGTQ+ people of another persuasion. Let people be who they are already.

I simply don't approve of those on the second group figuratively bashing people over the head to force themselves or their views onto everyone else.

Perhaps if non-native societies were more accepting, those who identify differently wouldn't feel so compelled to do that?

We can learn a lit from our Native American brethren.
