Things were going pretty well for all but getting my left leg functioning properly.

Surgeon said the nerve was damaged during surgery due to possible overstretching it to move it during surgery. It was such a mess in there with the scar tissue and calcification of disks. Two tears to dura because of it.

She needs to reevaluate situation in case it needs more surgery to try to fix it, but she doesn't want to do that because of the extreme risk of further damage to exposed nerves.

So she wants to transfer me to the acute rehab i was supposed to go to because they knowhow to reinnervate the nerve with PT and to help the other nerves and muscles to take over for the damaged ones. Lots of hard HARD work but the only way I'll ever get it back, which I desperately want!

Anyway, im back in the hospital and they are trying to get the inflammation down and pain under control again.
