No feeling below T8 is terrible! It can be a godsend for someone with nerve injuries so severe and painful that there's nothing that can ease it, but otherwise, gawd, that is a HARD life missing so much.

If he was born that way, then he doesn't know what he's missing. However, if it happened later on, it's seriously hard to accept.
