Comes off in three and a half weeks. It’s harder/ stiffer than the other one, especially between the thumb and forefinger. VA wasn’t going to get me in for another week, so we went to a local hospital and were able to get in right away. Probably got better care there, too, and since we also have Medicare, it’s all good. They even let me see the x-rays they took. The radius was broken all the way through but wasn’t dislodged, so I’m very lucky I didn’t have to have surgery. I’m probably lucky I didn’t break my hip, too, as I had a large bruise there, too.
