They are Trump’s brownshirts; their PURPOSE has become intimidation of voters and of officials in Democratic-led states. Immigration is the excuse that makes them ‘ok’ as law enforcement with the great unwashed.
Trump’s people know what they’re doing. The only question is ‘have they gone too far, too soon?’ That is hopefully the case.
