When Trump's policies and pronouncements/decree's personally affect them adversely will they even begin to start to think that:
Maaaaybeeee he isn't telling us the truth.
Maaaaybeeee he's not doing this for us.
Maaaaybeeee he's in it for himself.

Farmers have discovered this. And it isn't certain that they have all turned on Trump in disgust. Even as they go bankrupt.
