Had the TV on CBS just now. Programming was interrupted with a special report for trump to make remarks on the war before he was to give out medals to members of the military. But first a black military chaplain (how nice and ‘inclusive’) said a prayer with head bowed and eyes closed. Trump did not bow his head or close his eyes, but looked around the room during the prayer. Then he spoke after the prayer supposedly to provide updates. No updates really, just more of the same to ‘sell’ or justify the war. Then he went off on the ballroom that was being built just beyond the tall curtains there beside him. He went ON and ON and ON and ON about the ballroom and the curtains and the gold color of the curtains and how he loves gold and how they are working on the ballroom from early in the morning to late at night and how Melanie hates the noise but he loves the noise…. and he was STILL going on and on and on when a reporter for CBS interrupted the programming and gave a recap on his remarks about the war. Most bizarre spectacle you could never even imagine…. just unbelievable.
