When Time asked President Donald Trump whether citizens should be worried about retaliatory attacks on American soil following his Iran strikes, he all but shrugged. “I guess,” he replied in a Wednesday phone call with the outlet. His remarks were published earlier Thursday. “But I think they’re worried about that all the time," he continued. "We think about it all the time. We plan for it. But yeah, you know, we expect some things. Like I said, some people will die. When you go to war, some people will die." The president struck a similarly nonchalant tone earlier Thursday when asked about his Iran strikes causing a sudden spike in U.S. gas prices. "If they rise, they rise, but this is far more important than having gasoline prices go up a little bit," he told Reuters. - HuffPost
