Hebrew skolars decided to translate their word different into abomination, so for millenia people who could read read חריגה as abomination instead of abberation. A correct translation would have made a world of difference... except so many MAGA Bible thumpers are challenged to read in their one and only language.

Consider this.

At church Sunday, the guest pastor spoke about odds, and used the Battle of Thermopylae as example. Only he pronounced it,

"thermo-ply"

Our worst resident MAGA immediately corrected him IN THE SERMON!

"It's pronounced thermo-play."

Barbara Walters would have said,

"I west my case."
