Thanks for the well wishes on the hand. I am quite concerned about it, as the doctor warned me that I must stretch the grafted tendon out in that thumb, enough but not too much, or it will rupture again or else get stuck in a frozen position. It is still swollen and painful... that's why I'm not sleeping right now. The OT has not even let me start therapy on it yet. I've had a brace on now for a couple of weeks that feels too tight and uncomfortable, but I presume he is following the protocol the doctor has told him to. I feel like the thumb has stiffened up already and has gone to sleep, like pins and needles. Anyway... I will see the therapist again this morning. Touch and go...
