When I saw President Obama and Michele Obama, I had to pass through many checkpoints OUTSIDE the building, and then more inside before reaching the auditorium venue where they spoke.
Same for when I went to the Felon's rally in Aurora at the Gaylord's palace.
That venue, if you recall, was mostly empty. They had a standing area within black curtains so you could not see the empty auditorium.
Felon left the microphone and walked back into the black curtain where he thought the exit was. He became lost in the curtain and thrashed angrily with rage. Two handlers turned him around and led him back to the microphone, where he was redfaced with rage.
I didn't record that because no recording was allowed, and security was everywhere.
Why wasn't that protocol used at the Press Corps Dinner?
Blanche, Pirro and somebody else said security did their job professionally. Nothing they say can be trusted.
