I pop in on occasion. ;P

Of late, I'm back and forth between Japan (Tokyo and Sapporo) and the US (Portland and Scottsdale)...some ongoing family business. I have come to pretty seriously prefer Japan, for all it's not remotely perfect. But it's a high-functioning society. Far, far less of that "last throes of a dying empire" vibe, to be brutally honest.
