It's just too much. And too sad. It's like everyone is trying to just go on and pretend that it will all get better somehow, if we just wait it out. If only the blacks and women and the poor would learn their place... once and for all??

But in the meantime, we can watch the sports teams and place our bets, and hope our team wins next time. Neverending hope and entertainment should keep us happy, right?
