Unfortunately, too many people actually believe that anthing reported on TV must be true else criminal charges can be filed. You know - "truth in advertising" and all that jazz.

Since most people only watch, read, or listen to a few outlets that mostly say what they like to hear, confirming their own bias, they don't know that other outlets are saying exactly the opposite. They think that "talking heads" on prime time are actually news reporters & journalist rather than opinion show hosts.

Also that the POTUS & crew aren't allowed to lie to voters once officially elected. That if they do, the hammer would come down on them by ALL of the media reporting it like it used to be and that other elected officials will hold them accountable.

trump has endlessly claimed the the MSM and the Democrats are all corrupt and lying to lefties, so should be penalized, charged criminally, or booted out of jobs/office. Thus they lie endlessly and their allies swear to it.

Occam's razor says that the few outlets who claim everyone else is lying while they are not are full of sh!t.
