I only got it because there was nothing else whatsoever that I could think of that actually fit the space.

Normally, I'd never play a word that used 3 spaces with the same letter, but my mind was blank aside of a miniscule, improbable chance that it could be EMCEE just as it was once FLUFF, TATTY, MOMMY, DADDY, MUMMY, & SASSY in past games. I knew there were at least 2 Es from playing LEDGE on the 3rd line but basically nothing else to go on aside of the few letters I knew it wasn't.

So I took a chance, dipped a toe, waited for the seemingly inevitable failure and brain freeze to follow.

Instead, I was quite startled when I saw that it was so unexpectedly right! I couldn't believe it was for real as I had anticipated suffering my very first loss at Wordle after 1536 straight wins. I figured that it would turn out to be some word I had never heard of so couldn't possibly get right.

So absolutely, sometimes Wordle is just busting our chops to keep us on our toes and open to virtually anything.
