Do you remember what your commitment to a one-sided agreement to forgive and make peace with mongo did to you and to me and somewhat less to Merlin, and how it all ended? It was bad... VERY BAD... for us, but especially for you.

He never actually changed, he only got worse, and it wore you out from pushing it down until you finally blew up several months later. He was simply appeasing you to get you to drop your lawsuit, which you apparently did. He NEVER planned to actually change. He simply took advantage of your need to turn him around to make the world better, just like these MAGA folks will do.

You compromised yourself, let him do and say terrible things, while spreading disgusting lies about me in particular, but also rotten things to Merlin ... without a single word to him to stop, else your commitment tp peace was off. We were all bewildered by that, wondering why you just took it and left us to take it too, for your sake just to help you fulfill your promises.

That was AFTER what he did to YOU that caused you to file a police report and lawsuit against him. I got it why you wanted to try, but not why you kept letting him abuse us without a word.

Now, I've had my say, so I'll leave it be and support your decision because I am your friend and I know that this matters to you. This time though, please dont let anyone else also suffer for the MAGAt's failure to live up to something THEY never agreed to.
