President Donald Trump criticized those who oppose his White House ballroom, calling them “disloyal” to the nation.

While speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Monday, Aug. 17, Trump slammed critics of the pricey ballroom renovations in replacement of the East Wing.

“The people that are opposing the ballroom are people that, in my opinion, are very disloyal to our country,” Trump, 80, told reporters. “And I think we’re doing very well.”

“We’re way ahead of schedule,” he continued. “We’re under budget (lie).It’s going to be the most beautiful ballroom of its kind.”

Records reviewed by The Washington Post estimate the overall cost of White House construction projects to be nearly $1 billion.

This is a fortress, it is intended to keep Trump in power; it is illegal, and it is on the site of an illegal tear-down of the White House.
