Trump Loses It Over NYT Story, Calls Reporter 'Unattractive,' 'Stalker'

President Donald Trump lashed out at The New York Times’ White House correspondent Maggie Haberman over the paper’s story detailing the president’s plan to skip a 9/11 memorial event in New York City this year.

“Maggot Hagerman is a PHONY, and The New York Times knows it,” he wrote in a Friday post, slamming the veteran reporter as “an unattractive person both inside and out.”

“She’s been falsely writing about me for years — She’s a stalker, and should be forced to turn over any and all money that she’s made through her fake reporting on me,” he continued.

Haberman was one of four Times reporters who bylined a Thursday report about Trump’s decision to skip a 9/11 25th anniversary ceremony in Manhattan, allegedly motivated in part by his desire to give a speech. Politicians have been barred from speaking at Ground Zero since 2012.

Trump, instead, will honor the anniversary at the Pentagon, which also came under attack on 9/11.

The president denied the report, writing: “This is more Corrupt News, I’ve been to New York many times over the years, and no one ever speaks, it’s a ‘solemn ceremony!’ I never even thought of what Maggot made up, and besides, I would love not to speak, because I’m speaking all the time, and this is a day to remember the victims, and their beautiful family members.”

It was the latest instance of the president’s cruelness toward female reporters — something Haberman herself spoke about recently.

Trump’s “attacks on female reporters have gotten much nastier and much more aggressive and much less just about being a keyboard warrior where he would do it on Twitter [now X] in term one,” she recently said during an appearance on CNN’s Christiane Amanpour podcast.

Firstly I'd say 'Of course he thinks I'm unattractive, I'm not 15,' and then I'd suggest 'I'm glad he doesn't find me attractive, maybe then he won't try to rape me.'
