his aides and hangers-on keep him isolated from objective reality. They just feed his fantasies, allowing him to exist outside of our collective reality so he never has to face the fact that he is hated by the vast majority and considered a major liability by the GOP. He believes that he is respected worldwide when he is actually the target of severe ridicule by those he believes admire him.

So when a glimpse of reality intrudes on his fantasy land, he erupts into childish tantrums and spews utter nonsense, exacerbating the problem

He needs a padded, rubber room with a fake microphone and actors visible on a screen on the wall who freak out scared by his outbursts and who pretend to worship him and applaud his every pronouncement, insane or not.
