If trump declares a national emergency, Johnson's Congress could take control of the election and refuse to seat the elected democratic majority. He could direct Congress to seat who they want and retain the GOP majority, as if the election was rigged. Some state legislatures might try that too.

I strongly believe they just may try that. I know I won't stand for it. Civil War? Maybe. An election where the majority party loses its majority is absolutely NOT a national emergency. Trump is a national emergency, and so is MAGA.
