America never was a Christian nation. We have Christians, and Jews, Muslims, Hindu, Buddhists, Pagans, Atheists... Everyone is welcome. Church and state were separated for a good reason.
Johnson, Vought et al act in their own will, not God's. The felon took advantage of them because their voting block was enough to defeat many democrats. When they're no longer useful to the felon, he will abandon them just like people whose services he no longer needed, like the contractors and employees he stiffed.
