During the Han Man Dynasty, Xi Pin Wong and How Hi Wong sought to be the first to pilot a heavier than air aircraft. They chose a high hill in the Himalaya from which to launch their trials. For thirty years the Wongs failed because they did not understand the principles of lift. Their contraptions had movable wings for which human arms are too weak. Furthermore they missed the all-important function of the wishbone in storage of kinetic potential energy.

Of course it was the Americans Orvil and Wilbur Wright who achieved the first heavier than air flight at Kitty Hawk North Carolina, proving that two Wongs don't make a Wright.
