People were lined up like this on both sides of the street, all over streets downtown. All of downtown Denver was involved!
At least 100,000 people in downtown Denver around the Capitol building, between thare and the Civic Center, and lining streets in every direction. Drones flew overhead. It was peaceful.
Lots of people liked my signs, commented, complimented and took photos.
Some signs had trump wearing a crown and a hitler moustache. Dottir took picture.
I believe I represented us well.
I understand attendance at his parade was tiny. He looked none too happy, and of course, lied about the crowd size. Rows and rows of almost empty bleachers along the parade route. Far more people at the Denver protest than at the DC parade. Not even close to comparable.
A maga man in a blue truck made a left turn where he was not allowed, gunned his motor, fishtailed his truck, and nearly struck a group of people crossing with the light. He sped away. I saw it.
Before I drove home, a young maga male expressed his disapproval of my sign in the front passanger seat. He asked sarcastically,
"What's that supposed to mean?"
I told him it was the honor code at the US Air Force Academy, and to apply it where necessary.
You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
We were traveling yesterday, so weren't able to participate, but I met a lady at the airport who had been in the Rochester protest. She said there were some in those maga trucks who were trying to go up on the sidewalk and run over or intimidate the protestors. We have friends who attended one of the smaller protests in a small, more rural town. They said there was a good turnout. One of their signs said, "Not a Paid Protestor, I Hate Trump for Free"
I'm looking forward to hearing how the news stations report on the events. Somehow I doubt they will even tell us how many people were at your event vs Trump's.
There was a sign in Columbus

I learned and realized from this, the felon never "got it." He avoided service to the country when he found a doctor willing to lie about the bone spurs, and the very same drive made him want this military parade, taking all those soldiers away from their real work in training for defense, to instead pay homage to him and produce a spectacle showing a coward's strength. He did this because Kim Jong Un did this. Both times, it was all about him, and him alone.
Nationwide the protest appears to have engaged about the same number likely to lose medical health coverage due to the BBB. About 16 million. Less than 10,000 attended the parade in DC.
He and Melania sat together, and neither looked the least bit happy. The rage on his face was unmistakable. She sat mostly motionless. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony

Trump's speech, is it Political Theater, Fake?
The Soldier walking in is the visual cue/link to prove the live simultaneous broadcast from different networks. PBS vs FOX (cable)
Across the country, the protests were models of peace. The few incidents came wholly from MAGA, and a couple were serious. They didn't help their cause, and I don't believe even the felon can lie their way out of this.
Looks like more than 16 million people protested in more than 2000 cities. It was apparently the largest protest in US history... on the felon's birthday! You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
