It's been this hot before, but usually in late July or into August. Occasionally. Not yearly! Posted by Sia on June 24, 2025, 8:53 pm, in reply to "Record heat?" The last time it was THIS HOT for several days was in the summer of 1986 when a massive heat wave hit the entire east coast for around a week. HOT days for us are when it occasionally rises up into the 90s during mid summer. Normal summer temps are in the high 70s to mid 80s, while early summer/late spring (like right now) are in the high 60s to mid 70s. This is most unusual for this time of year as well as for New England.
