I looks like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has her head in the clouds.
In a Saturday morning post on X, the far-right Republican announced that she was introducing a bill that prohibits “the injection, release, or dispersion of chemicals or substances into the atmosphere for the express purpose of altering weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity.”
“It will be a felony offense,” she said.
“I have been researching weather modification and working with the legislative counsel for months writing this bill,” the legislator continued, adding that the legislation will be similar to Florida’s Senate Bill 56.
As KR would say, 'LOOOOOOOONY!'-greenman
Yeah, he probably has. isn't she the one who believes in Jewish lasers causing climate change too?
In 2018, Marjorie Taylor Greene, before being elected to Congress, posted a now-deleted Facebook post suggesting that California wildfires were caused by a laser beam from space. She further speculated that these "space solar generators" were funded by "Rothschild, Inc.", a reference to the Rothschild family, a well-known Jewish banking family that has been the target of antisemitic tropes for centuries.
This post and its connection to the Rothschild family led to the term "Jewish space lasers" being used to refer to this conspiracy theory.
So basically, yes. She posted that (although she didn't invent it)...-greenman
