So 7 roads washed out in our town from getting 6" of rain in less than an hour!

We were at our daughter's house having an early 5th birthday celebration for Alana. Drove home and got stopped by police because of washed out roads. They directed us around, the long way, so we could get home safely.
Usually the clouds tend to dissipate or split and go all around us right before they get here, so this time was unusual. We needed the rain! A welcome relief from the heat, too.
Friday and yesterday were welcome relief from Thursday's 101F.
In 80 years of records, we officially had one 100F day prior to 2000. Now, not only does temperature reach that every summer, but for multiple days.
Bu...bu... there's no climate change.
I believe the felon directed cuts in health care and science as his "final solution" to kill off undesirable people. Inability to warn people of impending dangerous weather, and curtail research into fatal diseases will reduce the population. You can look away from a painting, but you can't listen away from a symphony
Dry, huh?

But I'm amazed it's that hot. We used to get the occasional hundred-degree day, but I don't recall one in years.
Almost as bad is the 85 degree - 80% humidity stuff we have now. Yuck.-greenman
