The principle is that those with the ability to pay should pay the full price, and those less able to pay should get a break. We see this all the time... except when it comes to taxes. Those at the upper income levels simply don't want to pay their full measure when it comes to taxes. So instead, we have rising deficits and debt. So then... Who pays, in the end?

ADMIN If not with dollars and cents, then with the loss of services and entitlements they've/we've earned. Eventually, there will be no more blood or services to lose, in which case, the republic will crumble under the weight of its debts. Yet still the 1% will not pay even a part of their fair share.
