" Valued Poster Bad decisions, some by Dems, have let the mentally ill out into the streets, left them without regulation; the courts are so overburdened that they can't even take more than five minutes to judge a case; drink, drugs and guns have made the country a hazard to live in (dear Ukrainians: don't come here, it's NOT SAFER), Mexican cartels, etc. etc. Trump will have a lot of support in his 'get tough on crime' policies. What will Dems do in response? Hint: liberalized courts and laws ain't it. RESIST!

Voting with them to keep it open or letting it shut down to force them to negotiate some changes.

They’ve already essentially shut down the government with all their illegal cuts and actions. It may justify Trump to take even more “emergency actions” but so what? He’s already doing everything he can to tear it all down and blame the democrats for everything. Let it fall on him and his enablers when it all hits the fan. Stop legitimizing these criminals.
