Your 1st 3 were very good guesses, particularly with how each gained more. After all, there were about 20 possible after line 1 so that you chose differently is expected. That both Moishe and I chose right is VERY surprising! But I'm surprised that you used POUTY. What letter(s) were you looking for to go with the 4 that you had? I can't see it, so that's why I'm asking. I like to see people's reasoning in their guesses. I find that interesting.

" Valued Poster I felt that 'AIR' plus the 'C' from 'CAIRN' (plus the fact that 'AIR' couldn't be in the middle any more) should've made me see 'CHAIR.' If 'SHOUT' had been my second word, I'd have had that 'H' (although not the 'C'). With my train of guesses, I thought there had to be another vowel, thus 'POUTY.' I should've known better, of course.. RESIST!

Maybe even before using CANDY. But then again, it was the right thing to guess CAIRN too. UGH! Every choice brings us closer or further away. LOL Good game either way! FTR, my getting it right on line 2 was really just a lucky choice between 20+ possibilities.

Hindsight makes it easy to criticize our choices sometimes, but we always have to remember that we didn't know what the right answer was when we guessed based on what we have.
