of his job! Especially his position on vaccines and who should get them. If children no longer ned to be fully vaccinated to enter school, once feared diseases will com roaring bsck!
Amna, yesterday's announcement came days after Florida's surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, said the state would be the first to ban all vaccine requirements. This new policy for schoolchildren won't take effect for about 90 days, and it would end the requirement that kids are inoculated against diseases like hepatitis B, chicken pox, influenza, and meningitis.
The state legislature could take it further and consider removing requirements for measles and polio as well. In announcing the change last week, Dr. Ladapo spoke out against vaccine mandates, saying it was a matter of personal freedom."
My comments: Freedom is great but it can be abused. What Ladapo is suggesting is that people should have the right to spread disease and harm others in the name of personal freedom.
When has spreading disease and potentially causing harm to others a right of choice? If a person thinks its all about them and only about them fine . . . go live in the woods and stay away from everyone else. Be as sick as you want - just don't spread it around to others. Be a hermit, and a fool.
I don't get it. Do they have no thought of others? Do they really think its all about them? Do they believe that their personal freedom of choice means they have a right to endanger others? Whatever happened to 'we are all in this together'?
It really is insane at times. Be the change. . .
Yep, it really is insane!
